Vision

A sprawling piece of interactive lifestyle enhancement.

To provide a one-stop global panacea of creativity to the progressive and independently minded through 'individual empowerment', providing a shared space, values, language, experience and purpose. 'Relaxed in body, active in mind™' is the governing proposition for the space, which will (re)create the café style environment in an on-line dimension. As off-line communities become increasingly disparate and government enabled self-employment rises, Folkdevil.com™ emerges to address the issue of isolation and the desire for collaboration through an experience that is sensory, engaging, interactive and memorable.

//Psycho-Babble™. The site is currently expanding its Psycho-Babble™ platform to reflect the 'cultural padding' imploding upon the 'independent' creative community. With quarterly papers born from Folkdevil's™ cultural incubator of practising cultural and knowledge workers, Folkdevil™ seeks to develop primary qualitative insight on emerging issues such as the dissolution of linear narratives and broadband content. The Psycho-Babble™ platform will moreover, provide analytical thought on the marketing implications for those operating on the margins of these arenas.

//Sunrise. A platform supporting new, grassroots talent - providing a credible, high profile, investment orientated showcase for 'independent' global creative talent. It will provide inspiration, cultural voyeurism and an impetus for those wishing to operate 'independently' and moreover, enable the identification of people with the skills required for collaborative projects. In short, //Sunrise will be an informal 'virtual' network/ecology with an evolution into the hosting of on and offline events.

//Loungecore. A platform housing webcasts from visiting international amateur DJs, exploring the reflection of national culture in musical selection. This will be positioned as a revolution online, in which these artists of 'electronica' get to play out as often as they like.
